Dominate Hong Kong’s Day and Night: Why wcity.com and hkclubbing.com Are Your Essential Media Partners for 2026.

As we look toward 2026, the digital landscape in Hong Kong is shifting. Advertisers are no longer just looking for "traffic"; they are looking for authority, heritage, and hyper-targeted engagement. In a sea of fleeting influencers and algorithm-dependent social platforms, two stalwarts stand out by offering something rare: owning the search results and the streets.

Non-alcoholic spirit CROSSIP and its Hong Kong distribution partner Spiritu have launched the “Clear Head, Strong Cause," a month-long campaign dedicated to supporting men's mental health in partnership with Mind HK and Movember in Hong Kong.

Cantopop, the pop music genre of Hong Kong, is experiencing a remarkable resurgence in nightclubs, events and parties around the city, and at the forefront of this revival right now are Hong Kong based DJs who are leveraging nostalgia to connect with all different generations and with the city's musical past.

In a striking fusion of cultures and creativity, 1664 has partnered with Edison Chen's CLOT, the renowned urban fashion label, to unleash a bold collaboration that seamlessly blends French sophistication with Asian street edge, culminating in an experiential rollout this April across select Hong Kong restaurants and bars, where design, lifestyle, and a re-imagined celebration converge to ignite excitement.

In today's digital age, your Google Business Profile is often the first impression potential customers have of your restaurant, bar or club business.

Mark your calendars for March 2025, as the Hong Kong Arts Festival returns with an extraordinary lineup set to captivate and inspire.

Highlights of this year's festival include:

  • Opera: Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Bizet’s Carmen with a revival based on original production notes, offering a glimpse into how it was first performed in 1875.
  • Music: Experience the vibrant sounds of the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in the Festival Opening concert, conducted by Maestro Donato Renzetti, along with a family friendly programme.
  • Theatre: Jules Verne’s sci-fi classic will be brought to life on stage in the Jockey Club East-meets-West Series: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, with a magical underwater world full of fantastic creatures.
  • Music Theatre: Discover TIME, the final work by the late Oscar-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto and Shiro Takatani, featuring a meditative soundscape and visual dreamscape.
  • Dance: Enjoy the Czech National Ballet’s performance of La Sylphide, a fairy tale told through dynamic Bournonville-style choreography by Johan Kobborg.
  • VR Interactive Dance: Participate in Le Bal de Paris, a virtual Parisian ball with live dancers and digital couture by Chanel. (This programme is not available for Advance Bookings and will be open for public sales from 6 December)

Advance Bookings are available from 10 October to 25 November, 2024. Tickets will be available for purchase at URBTIX from 10am on 6 December. For full programme details, visit the HKAF’s official website: HKAF Official Website.

Having seen such events happen in Hong Kong over the years, even though it could be seen as a success being sold out, it does not mean that it was a complete success.

The allure of a sold-out event is undeniable, but when it comes to DJ events, a packed house can quickly turn into a recipe for disaster.  The throbbing energy of a crowded dance floor can be exhilarating, yet when pushed beyond its limits, the experience can sour for both guests and organizers.

Angélique Kidjo, the five-time Grammy Award winner, has brought the soul of Africa to the world in her career lasting 40 years. The Polar Music Prize winner has been described by The Guardian as one of the most influential women in the world.

The Hong Kong Arts Festival has been a standout arts event in Hong Kong since 1973 and presents a broad spectrum of world-class performances in February and March each year.
