Over the last 20 years, Hong Kong's Nightlife has developed all over the city. The main areas that people would go out to at night to clubs and bars was Tsim Sha Tsui, Lan Kwai Fong in Central and Wan Chai.
Now with more interest and demand to go to night clubs as well as bars there are a number of other districts that have popped up since then.
Check out our list below where you can find which is the closest to where you are staying, or where you would like to explore!
Lan Kwai Fong, Central
One of the most established nightlife areas of Hong Kong. With a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs and usually open all hours and days of the week.
Soho, Central
Close to Lan Kwai Fong and further up the hill in and around Staunton Street and Elgin Street, this district has grown a lot over the years. Many restaurant and bars fill the streets with a whole host of different choices.
Wan Chai
This area has spread from around Lockhart and Jaffe Road. Plenty of sports bars and live music venues around this district to enjoy.
Sharp Street East, Causeway Bay
Round the back of Times Square there are a couple of streets that have a number of ground floor and upper floor bars and restaurants worth visiting.
Knutsford Terrace, Tsim Sha Tsui
I road full of bars and restaurant to check out and do not forget to go up the floors in the building there, as there is a lot more on offer that is not just on the ground floor.
Hart Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui
In and around Hart Avenue you can find a host of restaurant and bars, so if you don't like one you can easily move on to another!
Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East
Just next to the main road, where there are a number of hotels and shopping malls there is a row of bars and restaurants with outdoor seating and some have live music too.

There are not to many live music venue options in Hong Kong, for small to medium sized shows. But the ones that are used do often have local and international shows.

There are a few clubs in Hong Kong that have regular EDM and commercial house DJs performing at their clubs and occasionally they will also have international artists for special one off nights.

As rents are high you will find that many venues in Hong Kong will have have tables and chairs filling up where a dance floor could be so that the space can be booked.
We do not have massive dancefloors but we do have ones good enough for dancing throughout the night.

We get a lot of requests for this from artists as well as those visiting Hong Kong. It is really nice after a night out in the Central area to not have to go too far to your hotel.

There are a few local promoters organising trance nights every couple of months over the last few years and there are main trance events in Hong Kong are those when an international DJ comes to the city.
Most of the biggest names in trance have come to Hong Kong over the years and they usually happen in clubs as well as one off locations such as hotel ballrooms to outdoor areas.
