When going out at night in Central there are a number of venues that stay open late for those looking for something to eat. Check out our best picks!

2025 UPDATE - Macau does not have many night club options compared to the increasing number of hotels, resorts and casinos. If you are in Macao and would like to go to a nightclub then we would recommend checking out the ones below. Moon on Planet Club (Club MOP) and Para Club. They are both very large especially compared to the clubs that we have in Hong Kong.

There are a number of places that you can find Molecular cocktails in Hong Kong. These are cocktails that have been made in a wide variety of different ways than that of the standard cocktail. Often smoke, special powders and even wood chippings are used.

There is a small but strong community in Hong Kong for Psy trance music in Hong Kong. Events are usually once or twice a month and vary in location. It is best to check out the calendar every so often.

There are usually monthly local and international techno DJ events in Hong Kong and these can vary from quite minimal to hard techno depending upon the DJ that has been brought into Hong Kong.

For regular local techno events checkout the venue Yumla in Central.

Lan Kwai Fong, is well known for its tight cluster of bars, small clubs and restaurants. In the area you can find such venues as Sugar, Drop, Hei Hei, Dragon-I, Jewel, Yumla and C Club.

Near by further up the hill in the Central/ Mid Levels district of Hong Kong Island is also Soho. This area is rapidly expanding with also a large variety of bars, lounges and restaurants. You can have a read of the full list restaurants from our venues section.
