(Updated February 2022)
Over the last 20 years, Hong Kong's Nightlife has developed all over the city. The main areas that people would go out to at night to clubs and bars was Tsim Sha Tsui, Lan Kwai Fong in Central and Wan Chai.
Now with more interest and demand to go to night clubs as well as bars there are a number of other districts that have popped up since then.
Check out our list below where you can find which is the closest to where you are staying, or where you would like to explore!
Hong Kong Island
Lan Kwai Fong, Central
One of the most established nightlife areas of Hong Kong. With a variety of restaurants, bars and clubs and usually open all hours and days of the week.
Soho, Central
Close to Lan Kwai Fong and further up the hill in and around Staunton Street and Elgin Street, this district has grown a lot over the years. Many restaurant and bars fill the streets with a whole host of different choices.
Wan Chai
This area has spread from around Lockhart and Jaffe Road. Plenty of sports bars and live music venues around this district to enjoy.
Sharp Street East, Causeway Bay
Round the back of Times Square there are a couple of streets that have a number of ground floor and upper floor bars and restaurants worth visiting.
Kowloon
Knutsford Terrace, Tsim Sha Tsui
I road full of bars and restaurant to check out and do not forget to go up the floors in the building there, as there is a lot more on offer that is not just on the ground floor.
Hart Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui
In and around Hart Avenue you can find a host of restaurant and bars, so if you don't like one you can easily move on to another!
Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East
Just next to the main road, where there are a number of hotels and shopping malls there is a row of bars and restaurants with outdoor seating and some have live music too.
