Who's behind the team? Social Club Series - a brand new concept that brings music & parties to a unique spots you might never thought of before. This Hong Kong-based team is innovatively redefining the daytime connections. Today, we are delighted to interview Social Club Series, and together unveil the mystery behind this fascinating team.

hkclubbing.com: Please introduce yourself! Is this something you are doing full time, and can you tell us more about your background?

Social Club Series: We’re Isaac and Sandy—and somehow, our own project led us here to Social Club Series.

Isaac founded COLLAB HK (@collabhk_official) that curates concerts and music videos. He handles everything around music and videos. Sandy founded Riffs (@riffspass), a music discovery and ticketing platform. This isn't our full-time thing (yet), but the love and support from the community has been unreal. It's got us feeling super grateful — and can't wait to put even more into it.

hkclubbing.com: Can you introduce what Social Club Series is all about to our readers.

Social Club Series: Social Club Series is all about bringing great music to cool, unexpected places around the city. Every edition feels a little bit special—with its own theme, dress code, and vibe. We like to call it your weekend essential — something you look forward to every weekend.

hkclubbing.com: I have seen on your event posters that you start at 3/4pm, so will the series be focused at day time event? If so why did you decide to do that?

Social Club Series: Because not everyone wants to be out till 3am on weekends. We all work hard, and by the weekend, we want to relax, have fun, but not necessarily wreck ourselves for Monday.

Social Club Series is the sweet spot between partying and self-care — it’s a party, but it’s also about wellness, connection, and discovering cool new places in your city. You can dance, meet new people, and still be in bed by 9.

hkclubbing.com: We have watched the YouTube video of your first event, do you plan to film all of them and upload them?

Social Club Series: It just started as something small and fun with our friends. That video wasn’t planned or staged——just real people, real energy, and a whole lot of fun.  It turned out to be something kind of magical.

hkclubbing.com: What gave you the idea to start to organize ‘Parties at Unique Spots’ on the Weekends?

Social Club Series: There are so many hidden gems in Hong Kong and other cities that deserve love. We want to shine a light on them through music. When you pair that with great music and great people, it creates something kind of special and magical.

hkclubbing.com: Is there a specific genre of music that you choose to have at each event or as the venues change so does the music?

Social Club Series: The venue definitely influences the music. For example, our upcoming Series 004 has a more urban vibe—so we thought it’d be fun to bring in some hip hop energy and live beat-making. Each location gives us a feeling, and we curate the music around that. We want every edition to sound as unique as it looks. There are even a few surprises we’re keeping secret for now…

hkclubbing.com: Can you let us know one of the most ultimate unique spots you would like to have one of your events?

Social Club Series: The Hong Kong Palace Museum. The Robert Wun fashion show there was next-level inspiring. There’s so much history, art, and culture in that space — we think it’d be an once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience.

hkclubbing.com: What are your aspirations for the future of the Social Club Series?

Social Club Series: We want to keep partnering with amazing, unexpected venues across Hong Kong — and eventually bring Social Club Series to other cities. There are so many places around the world that deserve a little music magic. And as we grow, we hope to work with more talented creatives to co-create unforgettable experiences with us.

More than that, we want to grow a community with people from different backgrounds, different cities, all sharing the love of music.
