Hed Kandi Resident DJ - Eibhlin
Eibhlín (pronounced Evelyn) hails from the Southwest coast of Ireland. From a very early age, Eibhlín was heavily influenced by the dance music scene. Her mother, Mary T has been running a well renowned night club for the past 30 years in her home town of Tralee. Eibhlín would often sneak in the back door to watch many top DJ’s perform and tinker with the turntables during the downtime. Her obsession with dance music and events grew rapidly and eventually she made the decision to move to London to pursue her passion full time. After a chance encounter with Hed Kandi head honcho Phil Faversham at a HK event, they became friends and she ended up touring with him on gigs for a number of years.
During this period, her love for the brand and all things Kandi developed and she gained a unique insight and understanding of Hed Kandi’s glamorous international sound and broad appeal. Phil encouraged her involvement and after years of honing her DJ skills behind closed doors and paying her dues with the occasional warm up sets, he finally gave her the opportunity to stand on her own two feet and DJ for the brand. Her superior tune selection, turntable finesse, uplifting nature and magnetic personality were all combined in the perfect blend and shortly thereafter she embraced the opportunity whole heartedly, wowing the beautiful party people at our fabulous events across our global dance floor.
Eibhlín is currently busy in the studio working on her own music productions and bespoke edits and will be gracing the decks at a HK event near you soon! In little over three years Kami C has become one of the most in demand Percussionist in the UK & Europe.
Due to high demand Kami has capped over 450 performances across the UK &Europe, let alone his percussion solo at Everton vs Chelsea at Goodison Park broadcasted to millions & in front of 38,000 fans! His talents are so in-demand that he has even performed at Calvin Harris & Laidback Luke’s event at IBIZA Rocks. In addition, he has supported Alex Gaudino at Pacha London, and toured the UK with Randy Ron/ BBC Radio One DJ Danny Howard. Following these high profile performances, Kami has gone and performed in world renowned venues including: The Egg Club, HMV Ritz, Sankeys, Ibiza's Base bar, Cafe Sydney & Hush nightclub. Along the way he has supported major acts including: Coolio, Kissy Sell Out, Aggro Santos, Hannah Wants, Trevor Nelson and Wretch 32.
Able to provide a full live percussion show (not just bongos!) with LED drums, cymbals, cow bells and endorsed Roland V Drums – this guy gives you the works. Playing a wild blend of western and latin rhythms, he will take your guests and event to a whole other level. He is a perfect complement to a standard DJ performance, infusing their sets with splashes of vibrant percussion that will hit the right note at any event.
