This is a popular style of chinese music commonly found in Hong Kong. There are new canto pop stars turining up each year in Hong Kong such as Joey Yeung and Nicholas Tsai.

These artists also move to chinese feature films and are also featured throughout the press each week.

The demand for such music is high in Hong Kong, even though often when I have listened to the music especially live, I do question some of the signers true musical skill and talent. The ones mentioned above are probably two of the best.

Thanks to everyone who came to the HKClubbing Anniversary party last Friday. I hope you all had a great time with the free music, food, cake and drinks on offer during the night.

The party will be happening this Friday at 5pm. Everyone who has emailed us so far has already been added on the list and we have confirmed their names via email.

Don't forget the time and we hope that all of you can come as close to 5pm as possible as once it is full its full and it will be one in one out. Should be a great evening of networking, music, drinks and snacks.

DJ LadyStar will be spinning mostly sexy house from 5 to 8pm and then C Club resident Bong will continue throughout the night. There will be a Jever beer for everyone who comes to the party until stocks last and if you dont like beer there is happy hour prices on standard drinks!

Marcus Intalex & MC Terra D will be coming to Hong Kong at the end of the month for a long awaited International Drum n bass show that should draw out all the underground fans onto the dance floor in Wanchai.

The last drum n bass party that was held at Skitz went down so well that the promoter is going ahead with another installment.

With DJ support from Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Matt Darey, Adam White, Guy Ornadel, Sasha, Deep Dish, Pete Tong, Dave Seaman, Timo Mass, Sister Bliss to name just a few, the Nat Monday Tour will be coming to Hong Kong for the launch of the New Album “ I WONDER ”.

After moving to Canada to study, the DJ from Hong Kong will be spinning the best tunes he has picked up this month live from his university bedroom over the internet.
