So what do we predict to see in 2024 in the nightlife and entertainment scene in Hong Kong? Well, read on to find out what we think after monitoring the industry and seeing big changes in 2023.
1) More Festivals
We saw the launch of some new festivals in 2023 and we expect some of them to return, as well as new ones this year. This would be everything from music festivals to beer festivals. There should be a lot more where venues will be wanting to maximise their business and fill their venues with a lot of plans. So great for the public as there should be a lot more on offer to enjoy each week.
2) Hong Kong Tourism Activities
We saw a lot of new activities by the Hong Kong Tourism Board in 2023 and we expect them to have more this year. Not too sure which ones, but after talking to the success for some vendors we spoke to, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival should be back.
3) New Venues
As one venue closes, another opens. That has never changed so we should see some new venues opening this year, with a variety of different nightlife and entertainment offerings. Not gossip to share right now, but we will write about it when we hear it.
4) Korean Artists
There has been a big fan base of Korean artists in Hong Kong. Concerts and meet and greets are expected to happen throughout the year.
5) Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund
There is also the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund. Already a host of events for the year have been confirmed and we can imagine more will be released throughout the year. For more information, CLICK HERE.
6) Member Clubs
Expect more members clubs opening up this year around Hong Kong. This year we will see 1880 from Singapore open up 1880 Social.
