Hong Kong based multi-instrumentalist, DJ and electronic music educator mredrollo has finally released his debut EP. After our watchful eye on this artist for some time and recently watching his live performances on YouTube we could not be happier that the EP is finally out.

Beautiful melodic and electronic tones radiate through each of the three songs and when listening to them remind us of another artist that we have been listening too lately, which is Lane 8. All 3 tracks on the Circles EP were written, produced and performed by mredrollo in his Kowloon East studio.

We never ask for too much music! Can't wait to introduce to you IXA who based in Hong Kong, currently starting a new online music community - Communique & in a short time, already reached 3000 followers! 

IXA mentioned, "Usually I record DJ mixes using Ableton so that I can chop things up, blend 3 or more tracks at the same time and structure the mix exactly as want it. They’re more like a musical collage than a DJ mix I guess but for this one I wanted to do something more direct I had a collection of tracks I wanted to include and I’d say about half of them made the final mix. I just sat down with the music and mixed everything on the fly with a pair of CDJs and no preparation. Choosing whatever felt right at the time and just enjoying the vibe of each track. This mix represents exactly what I usually do in the DJ booth every weekend but due to the situation we are all dealing with right now, obviously with a few less people dancing in front of me. My mixes usually take 3 or 4 days to put together so it was fun taking this one from idea to finished mix in less than a day. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did recording it."
