Will this be your first show in Hong Kong?  Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?

Yes, first in HK. I have played in Macau, and travelled through. Always fascinated me, and I can't wait to spend some time. Just wandering about wide eyed is good for me.

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

Technology has changed things quite considerably. Made Djing a lot more accessible, and easier.
The downside is that it has become less about the music and more about the fame. And now everyone can pretty much do it. Being good at it, is a whole other story.

What was your favourite memory of 2013 and what are you looking forward to in 2014?

Glastonbury, hands down. One of the greatest cultural experiences I have encountered in recent years.
As for next year...Glastonbury again?
And lots of music from our camp. From Classic, Defected....from Freaks, and from me. A prolific year I think.

What can we expect from your upcoming performance in Hong Kong?

Dancing and music I hope ;)....I like to play music people may not have heard before, interspursed with things they may know, but may have forgotten. I also like to make sure there is a party!

Aside from your DJ equipment, name you top three touring essentials.

Ipad and computers, and phones filled with TV and Films. Books and magaizine. Touring is my time to catch up on culture away from the intense schedule of parenting.

Do you have any pre gig rituals?

Not really, apart from a nap...that is important.

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers / artists at the moment?

Too many to mention. Tooth Faeries, Matt Styles Harris, LevonVylenhall....Floorplan.
Some of these aren't really up and coming at all...but they are names to look out for .

If you weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?

I'd be a writer or an architect...one of the two....wishful thinking though.
