Will this be your first show in Macau?  Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?

Yes this will be my 1st show in Macau I’m very excited I’ve heard amazing things from allot of my friends on how wonderful Macau is. I’m looking forward to the experience.

Your career started by self experimenting with the art of DJ-ing at age 11, and playing in underground clubs at the age of 15; how do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

Of course it’s has exponentially, but its because of technology and it will continue to change it’s inevitable, I enjoy the changes.

Being a part of Steve Angello’s Size Records and releasing your own “Dim Mak Attack” EP under Steve Aoki’s label means it’s been a busy year so far. What has been your favourite memory so far and what else would you like to achieve during the rest of the year?

Its great to heave friends like them and have their support, it’s been wonderful thus far and I look forward to really establishing my label brobot and making it a strong force in the dance community.

What can we expect from your upcoming performance in Macau?

I would say Expect Fun, Great Tracks and a dynamic Real Feel with a lot of new and Great Music from my friends and upcoming artist. Its still going to be energetic and strong but maintain Underground in sensibility.

Aside from your DJ equipment, name you top three touring essentials.

I would Say Laptop, Books, IPhone, and Documentaries.

Do you have any pre gig rituals?

Not really I do get nervous sometimes depending on the gig, I just take a deep breath and get into the flow.

You have produced and remixed for named artists like Madonna, Gorillaz, Jamiroquai, and Christina Milian; with so much new talent who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers / artists at the moment?

I really enjoy people like Strip Steve, Brodinski, Gessaffelstein, Alexander technique, Danny Daze, I mean there so many I could be here all day!

You’re not only a DJ and producer, you also own the record label/ multimedia company Brobot, however, what would consider doing if you weren’t a DJ/producer?

I’ve thought about this before you know, I have no idea. it would probably  be a archaeologist like Indiana jones! lolol

Junior Sanchez will be DJ-ing at the Splash Party Vol.8 at the Hard Rock Hotel Macau on the 20th July 2013, for more information CLICK HERE.
