Tell us a little bit about how you guys got started DJing. Who was your biggest inspiration?

Brett’s family actually owned the biggest nightclub in our home tome, so he started at a very young age. James learnt at university by playing at parties, both of us really finding guys like Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez and Fedde Le Grand really inspiring.

Will this be your first time in Hong Kong? Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?

Yes this is our first time. We love our gadgets so plan on getting stuck in the electronics markets.

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

SO big! It’s so accessible for people to start producing, it makes it very easy for every kid to get into it. This has injected so many new ideas pushing the music and a HUGE market to play too.

What was your favourite memory of 2014 and what do you have planned for the rest of the 2015?

We had our biggest year last year, doing shows in America, Brazil and South East Asia. After our shows in Hong Kong, we travel back to Australia to play the big festivals, which are always highlights of the year.

What can we expect from your upcoming performance at Zentral?

LOTS of energy, a fully interactive show and tons of new music to premiere.

Aside from your DJ equipment, name your top three touring essentials.

iPhone, iPhone Charger, Headphones.

What is the weirdest thing that you’ve seen from the DJ booth?

Somebody bought in a bowl of Jelly…

Do you guys have any pre-gig rituals?

After warming up our voices and going over our set, a Vodka Redbull is always drunk.

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers at the moment?

In Australia, there’s a lot of talent! Guys like JDG, Dave Winnel & Senior Roar. Internationally Julian Callor and FTampa are putting our some EPIC records.

If you guys weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?

James: Something in Music. That’s my passion and true love.
Brett: Architect.

What tracks/ projects can we look forward to in the upcoming months?

We just finished a track with Vassy, singer of Bad with David Guetta, and we have another collaboration with The Potbellez coming soon.

What would be your dream collaboration?

Michael Jackson, haha! No, but realistically, Nicky Romero.
