Annual event raises funds for the Po Leung Kuk Scholarship Fund and Language Training Program
The much-awaited Foreign Correspondents’ Club Annual Charity Ball will rock on September 15, 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) to the fabulous sound of new wave, punk sensation Blondie with lead singer Deborah Harry. This is Blondie’s only Hong Kong performance on their Asian tour.

The Black Eyed Peas will be performing Live in Hong Kong for their one and only show on 16th July. Part of their Monkey Business Tour the group will be in Asia and finally performing in Hong Kong for the first time. There is for sure a demand for them in the city, especially as most clubs or bars are still playing their hits from a few years ago. Public ticket sales will go live on the 1st June 2006.

Ngong Ping 360 is a dynamic new tourism experience which combines a stunning 5.7 km cable car journey with an impressive cultural themed Village and easy access to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the world’s largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha statue.
