Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong will be opening soon as Asia’s first and only year-round, all-weather seaside water park. I remember visiting the old Water World when I was a child and all those great memories are coming back knowing that Hong Kong will have a great water park once again.

From the list of attractions (that includes 27 outdoor and indoor attractions), I would say it does look like there is a lot more to experience at the new park with five zones to explore.

Splendid Reef - Key Attractions include: Water World Plaza, Reef Lobby, Treasure Reef and Ripple Suite.
Hidden Village - Key Attractions include: Horizon Cove, Lazy Cruise, Surf Striker, Whiskers’ Splash, Cavern’s Kitchen, Horizon Grill and Splash Shop.
Torrential River - Key Attractions include: Cyclone Spin, Tropical Twist, Rainbow Rush, Cavern Chase and Vortex.
Adventure Coast - Key Attractions include: Big Way Bay, Riptide, Cabanas and Big Wave Snacks.
Thrill Valley - Key Attractions include: Skyhigh Falls, Thunder Loop, Daredevil Drop and Bravery Cliffs.

For those looking for excitement, Thrill Valley will offer some exciting slides and freefall experiences. Torrential River has twists and turning slides.

For those looking for something more relaxing there is Adventure Coast where you can also grab a bite to eat.

The Hidden Village includes Horizon Cove, presented by the sponsor Manulife, which is an all-weather indoor wave pool, that has 8 different wave patterns.

In addition to all this great fun elements at Water World, what I do know is that Horizon Cove can also play host to both day and night entertainment, including concerts and events on the performance stage that will be there.The Performance stage will have a large LED backdrop screen (20 metres x 5 metres).
