How did you start your DJing career here in Hong Kong?
I started as a DJ after being worked at club marketing for serval years which made me understand the clubbing scene in HK. Having lived in the UK for many years, I was surrounded by a vibrant culture that gave me the opportunity to study all aspects of music therefore I  decided to become a DJ who can bring different style of music to the crowd. Luckily I was taken by DJ Frankie Lam and DJ Ball under their labels which helped me elevate my techniques and develop my DJ career.  

How many years has it been since you first started DJing?
I got started as a DJ in 2010.

Where do you play in Hong Kong?
I am a resident at Ozone and Show Club, and sometimes play at Brickhouse, Loft...etc.

How would you define your style of music?
I play a wide range of music such as house, electro, hip hop, mash up...etc. All I can say for my music is “Never the same”. I always keep my set fresh but not losing my own style. 

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years in the local scene of Hong Kong?
Technology has changed a lot which makes Djing and producing more simple and convenient, leading us to be more creative. Electronic dance music has taken a big place in the clubbing scene in Hong Kong, I enjoy it but I do wish there should be more different types of music to be played in the clubs.     

Which is your favourite venue to perform at?
I enjoy perform in all sort of venues, but I must say Ozone is probably my favourite. As it located on 118/F in the Ritz-Carlton hotel which is the highest bar in the world, the view is stunning! Djing with the best view of Hong Kong, what more can you ask for?   

Was there a most memorable event you have performed at? Can you tell us about it?
The most memorable event was probably the Cartier event which was held in a hotel ballroom which I had hundreds of people dancing with their hands on each other shoulders and made a giant dancing dragon. They were some crazy crowd!

Have you performed abroad? If not, where would you like to visit? If yes, how are the audiences different from the local crowd here in Hong Kong?
I have performed many places aboard such as Berlin, Taiwan, Malaysia, Macau...etc. I love playing aboard as the crowd came especially for me and they expect to listen to different style of music whereas in Hong Kong, most of the audience just wanna hear the most commercial songs and request the same song list every night.  

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers / artists at the moment?
Zedd and Porter Robinson, both are very talented and should be watch out for.

If you weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?
Probably continue my work as a club marketing as I enjoy working in the scene where I can surround by different music and people.
