Will this be your first show in Hong Kong?   Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?

It's the first time I've been to Hong Kong, and I'm really looking forward to getting a taste of the nightlife on offer.  It looks already like a city with a great vibe and a really cool party atmosphere.  I also can't wait to sample some authentic food, and trying something new that we can't get over in the UK - I know there's plenty of good things to try!

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

The introduction of Serato has got to be one of the benefits of the changes from my point of view - no more carrying those heavy record boxes around from club to club! Having my whole music collection at my fingertips means I can always play the kind of music to keep crowds happy and dancing.

What was your favourite memory of 2013 and what are you looking forward to in 2014?

Being asked to join Ministry of Sound's student brand, 'Unitrash'. Touring the UK as one of their resident DJs and gigs over the summer in Spain has got to be the highlight of 2013 for me so far - and it's not over yet!
In 2014 I can't wait to play more big rooms, and rocking parties across the globe.

What can we expect from your upcoming performance in Hong Kong?

Nothing but energy from start to finish, with a lot of bass.  I always make sure that people are dancing non-stop, so if you're not dancing I'm not doing my job properly!

Aside from your DJ equipment, name your top three touring essentials.

My favourite TV shows loaded onto my phone for those long plane journeys (things like Entourage and Family Guy); a packet of crisps (Walkers Smoky Bacon); my favourite beanie

Do you have any pre gig rituals?

A shot of tequila to get me warmed up and ready to party, and listening to a good party mix from one of my favourite DJs

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers / artists at the moment?

Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, Vice, NAPT, GTA and one of my good friends from home, CJ Beatz

If you weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?

I didn't ever really have a back up plan - I always knew that being a DJ was what I wanted to do, even from a young age, and that I needed to work hard to make it happen.  I'm very lucky that I now get to entertain great crowds for a living and make sure that they have an awesome night out.
