Tell us a little bit about how you got started as a DJ / Producer? Who was your biggest inspiration?

I first started djing at the age of 14 at local house party's, i had a couple of friends that were in a duo called 'electro rockers' and they were playing at all of the house party's I was going to, they inspired me to give djing a shot! Axwell was a big inspiration to me when I first started, I use to watch all of his videos on YouTube like a little fan girl haha. 

 
Will this be your first time in Macao?  Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?

Yes this is my first time coming to Macao, I've heard great things! I don't have any plans but I'm open to suggestions on what to do! :p
 
How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

Well going from playing 1 or 2 gigs a week in Melbourne, to touring heavily around Australia and the world was a huge change for me! Producing wise, I was writing minimal/techno a few years ago and now my sound has completely changed into the opposite direction. For the better I think!
 
What was your favourite memory of 2014 so far and what do you have planned for the rest of the year?

My favourite memory would have to be when I got the phone call telling me that my single 'Swing' went triple platinum. It was something I had never even dreamt of so that was a crazy moment for me and something I'll always remember! For the rest of 2014 I'm doing a lot of touring, heading over to America in September for a special tour! and I have the Stereosonic Music Festival tour in December back home in Aus! so I'm looking forward to it :)
 
What can we expect from your upcoming performance at Cubic Macao?

You can expect a rocking time and a set full of fun and energetic beats!
 
Aside from your DJ equipment, name you top three touring essentials.

Hair straightener, aftershave and a snapback!

Do you have any pre gig rituals?
                                                                                
Not really, I like to round my friends up before I go on stage and have a shot with the boys!
 
Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers at the moment?

Henry Fong is killing it right now! Loving what he's doing I think he's about to take over the world!
 
If you weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?

I would probably be trying to pursue my career as a cricket player! I played state cricket before I started djing so I'd probably still be doing that.

 
What tracks/ projects can we look forward to in the upcoming months?

I have a new single coming I'm the next month or so called 'State Of Emergency' I have my follow up collaboration with will Sparks, another collaboration with Chuckie which I'm super excited about! and a couple of more originals.
 
What would be your dream collaboration?

My dream collaboration would be with Dr Dre - He is the King! I would love to just sit in on a session with him and jam.
