Tell us a little bit about how you got started as a DJ / Producer? Who was your biggest inspiration?
I started when I was around 13 years old with producing music on my basic set up in my room. I am mostly inspired from the French Touch. When i was a kid i listened to Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar, Phoenix, Air, Cassius etc… I aslo really like Eric Prydz and Deadmau5 stuff. But i think it’s important to be very open minded… I take my inspiration from a lot of genres, from downtempo ( like Moby and Portishead) to pop rock music (like Serges Gainsbourg, Coldplay and Muse, etc…)

Will this be your first time in Macao?  Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?
Yes it will be my frist time! I heard there are quite a few Casino’s over there, so I think we are going to take a chance there!

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?
It has definitely changed yes. We have new tools to bring the music to a higher level. And you have to learn how to use them. Everything goes so fast, it’s crazy! But at the end of the day, it’s all about quality of the music, the emotions etc… We are now in a tough period, with all this EDM tracks that sound the same. It’s not about quality but quantity, it’s quite sad. But I think things are changing right now, people are not stupid and need more than just a hardstyle kick and a sh**ty bass synth!

What was your favourite memory of 2014 so far and what do you have planned for the rest of the year?
My favourite memory is shooting the videoclip of my latest track Strong together with Norman Doray. We had to fly to Los Angeles for it. We had much fun in the preparation of it and writing the script etc, but especially on the shooting day in the bowling alley we enjoyed a lot. you can check out the video here: http://smarturl.it/strongvid

What can we expect from your upcoming performance at Cubic Macao?
I would like to tell the crowd a musical story with my set. I want them to experience the French touch. Also I’m gonna play some new music and unreleased material.

Aside from your DJ equipment, name you top three touring essentials.
Cigarettes, my iPhone and my GoPro!

What is the weirdest thing that you’ve seen from the DJ booth?
I think that was in America when a girl in the crowd pulled off her shirt and bra and had written I Love You on her breasts. It was funny though.

Do you have any pre gig rituals?
Not really actually. I try to relax a bit, smoke a cigarette, have a drink and joke around a bit with my (tour) manager. I think it’s important to have fun before, during and after my gig!

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers at the moment?
Audien and Tom Staar!

If you weren’t a DJ/Producer what would you be doing?
I think I would be doing something with medicine, because I find it a very interesting and impressive study. I also like acting a lot, as you can see from the videoclip of Strong!

What tracks/ projects can we look forward to in the upcoming months?
Last year I’ve been working on a lot of different projects, so there is a lot on the shelf. I haven’t released it yet, because I think it needs a prefect timing. With the release of Strong now, I think the time is there, and a new era is born for my musical career. Coming months I will have a remix released on Nicky Romero’s label Protocol Recording. Also at the moment I’m working on a new remix for a big DJ/Producer in the scene (can’t say who yet!), and some new originals! I’m excited to share all this new music with you!

What would be your dream collaboration?
I would like to work one day with Chris Martin, Florence Welch, Hannah Raid or Roger Hodgson.
