Since the release of ‘Kiss From The Past’ on June 13th 2011, the rumor mill on the internet forums has been in overdrive. Allure was back - and how! A full-on artist album, distributed in over 20 countries: no less than 14 pure unadulterated trance tracks featuring familiar former Allure vocalists like Christian Burns, JES and Emma Hewitt. Tiësto’s tweet “Listen to my @allurelive project which I am involved in” fueled the already piping hot discussions even more.  As the title hints, the legendary producer Tiësto, who has been involved with the Allure project since its inception, wanted to say both goodbye and hand on the torch to the next generation.

Now serving as the projects Executive Producer, Tiësto will be taking a backseat as the project moves to a new and exciting phase.

Tell us a little bit about how you got started as an artist? Who was your biggest inspiration?

I started playing/producing in 2003. After being on the dancefloor myself for 10 years i feld it was time to see if i could get the crowds moving myself. My biggest examples at the time were Benny Rodrigues and Lacroix.

Will this be your first time in Macao? Is there anything that you are looking forward to doing or seeing in particular?
Yep, its my first time so i'm pretty excited! I've been told that there's lots of great architecture there and of course I always like trying the local cuisine.

What was your favourite memory of 2012 and what do you have planned for 2013?

Difficult question, too many favourites to mention actually. For 2013 is the plan to expand my progression as an artist.

What can we expect from your upcoming performance at Cubic Macao?

An energetic and banging performance with great music ;))

What are your top three touring essentials?
- Play that one big track nobody heard yet.
- To bring enough clothes.
- Try to sniff up some local culture.

What is the weirdest thing that you’ve seen from the stage?

Actually there are lots of weird things you'll see from up the stage.
It goes from girls flashing there boobies for me, to major fights and everything in between.

Do you have any pre gig rituals?
Yep, I always take a last minute shower to relax and to be fresh to perform.

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming artists at the moment?
I'll have to go for Alvaro and Dannic, both are very good producers.

If you weren’t an artist what would you be doing?
I'll probably would be a monk ;))
