已在柏林Berghain/Panorama Bar打滾了一段時間的Prosumer，同時亦是著名廠牌Ostgut Ton及Playhouse的製作人，來自蘇格蘭愛丁堡的Prosumer今天已經是House Music界裡數一數二的人物。在Bolier Room TV、Resident Advisor的文章和各大派對/夜店均能見到他的身影。

鳴謝廠牌FGHB的努力，經過一年的準備，我們很高興宣佈終於邀請到Prosumer於三月一日來到宀演出。

Long time resident at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin, producer on the famous labels Ostgut Ton and Playhouse, the artist from Edinburgh in Scotland appears to be one of the most iconic figure of today’s House music scene. His talent got rewarded with multiple apparitions on Boiler Room TV, articles from Resident Advisor and bookings from the most respected clubs and parties around the world. 

It’s with great pleasure and pride that we announce the booking of Prosumer for the 1st date of March, after almost a year of work to get him to come to Hong Kong thanks to the local label FGHB. 

Juan Aktins受到Alvin Toffler科幻小說代表作「The Third Wave」啓發發明了「Techno」一詞，而Prosumer也是受到Alvin Toffler影響把「producer」和「consumer」二字合而為一。而事實上Prosumer亦在做相同之事，他既製作House Music同時不停吸收House Music之養份。他本著真誠去創作，最重要的是音樂與他之間有著相當個人情感聯繫。衝破界限是能除去全數概定之規則，為House Music帶來新的衝擊，但情感聯繫由始此終都是Prosumer創作音樂的核心價值。

His artist name stems from Alvin Toffler’s significant science fiction book “The Third Wave”, which also inspired Juan Atkins to call his music “techno” and fuses “producer“ and “consumer” into one. In reality, that’s what Prosumer does. He produces and consumes  house music.  Being  the essence of his creative work, he deals with it in a way that is  traditional, honest and most of all very personal. There are no limitations; stereotypes  lose  their  impact and the supposedly very rigid  formulary of house music, suddenly bears new  entries. The only rule: Emotionality trumps effectiveness.

這是為何Prosumer的音樂如此攝人的原因，當然除了他在Hard Wax唱片掂打滾了二十年外，也因為在Prosumer心中並沒有絕對的真相。

忠於自己，Prosumer就是一位這樣的DJ。他首個官方混音「Panorama  Bar  03」固然驚人，但他於錄音室的製作，或是為Murat Tepeli和Tama Sumo的混音製作，也十分出色。

This is what makes his DJ sets such rewarding experiences. Despite drawing from twenty years of record shopping at Hard Wax, Prosumer is not an oblivious missionary of the absolute truth. 

He is an adoring DJ at heart who stands up for his own verity. All of that is stunningly bound in his first official mix  “Panorama  Bar  03” as well as continued and refined in his studio  work. Whether with Murat Tepeli or Tama Sumo for Ostgut Ton, with his own releases, while  remixing other artists.
