Cocktail D’Amore parties in Berlin were such an important inspiration when we built 宀 , that we can’t help but being ecstatic when we knew that one of their DJ / Producer were going to visit us during his Asia Tour.

Starting life in Israel – Omer found his way to the electronic music capital, better known as Berlin, a decade ago. Since then, he's played all at clubs all over the city, such as Cocktail d’Amore (where he holds a residency and also released his debut EP Spring on its label Cocktail d’Amore Music), Buttons@About Blank, Renate, he made his Berghain Klubnacht debut - effectively establishing himself as a fixed member of the city’s exuberant nightlife scene. Last summer, he shared his second EP via Paramida’s Love On The Rocks imprint - a beautifully arranged 3-tracker. Snapping percussions, fierce basslines, swirling layers of melody and synths that resonate with warmth and emotion.

It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the music scene wherever he has laid down roots.

As the founder of Hong Kong’s Cliche Records, he was one of the first in that city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis. He went on to create the magnetic Homesick and Fragrant Harbor labels, before suddenly setting his sights on Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established Savage where he runs the monthly queer night Snug. And on top of all that, he found time to curate the coveted Equation festival, now entering its second year.

柏林Cocktail D’Amore的派對是宀其中一個參考對象，所以當收到Omer來到亞洲巡演的消息我們都興奮不已。出生於以色列，自十年前移居柏林的Omer，在Cocktail d’Amore有著專屬的派對，順利成章在Cocktail d’Amore Music廠牌推出首張EP「Spring」，另外亦曾於Buttons@About Blank、Renate和lab.dance等等場地表演。剛過去的五月Omer首次成為Berghain的座上客，同時於柏林廠牌Love On The Rocks推出第二張EP，不多不少，曲目三首，都是旋律亮麗合成器音色的舞曲。

在亞洲打滾多年的Omer，再談出身似乎意義不大，身為香港廠牌Cliche Records的始創人之一，他對熟知如何將Disco-house-techno帶進本地dance scene，亦另組Homesick和Fragrant Harbor兩個廠牌。現今Omer放眼越南河內，於Savage另組一片天，就在今年，他的Equation電子音樂節將舉行第二屆了。Omer的音樂兼容旋律流麗的Disco、House和Techno，實在是groovy而且充滿速度感。
