Star-studded ‘Dead Not Alive’ event featuring Hong Kong’s biggest artists in costume on October 31 2009
Central’s late night hotspot zuma is hosting Hong Kong’s spookiest and coolest Halloween party on October 31 2009.
Costumes are compulsory at the funky ‘Dead Not Alive’ event which traditionally attracts Hong Kong’s coolest artists and partygoers. Last year’s party featured over 800 attendees in costume.
The nightmarish spectacle is organized by Hong Kong’s fast-growing international artist network alivenotdead.com and artistic events company E.V.E.N.T.
Famous international DJs Kid Fresh, Nat King Soul and Re:Flex are among performers at the ghoulish gathering. The party is at zuma’s lounge at Level 6 of The Landmark from 11pm till late.

The alivenotdead.com portal is a vibrant on-line artistic community of Asia’s top actors, musicians and artists. Among leading lights of the network are celebrities Daniel Wu, Conroy Chan, Andrew Lin and Terence Yin.
E.V.E.N.T. is a multi-talented Hong Kong-based performance group of artists, designers, musicians, dancers and filmmakers.
Meanwhile, sponsors Belvedere are promoting Belvedere IX, a luxury vodka created specifically for nightlife and parties, and available exclusively in nightclubs.
zuma recently launched the trendy new nightspot at its 6th floor lounge, with extended late-night opening hours from Thursday – Saturday til 2am, state-of-the-art sound system and a funky re-design. Including an outside terrace overlooking Central, the party venue has become renowned for resident and international DJs perform from Thursday to Saturday, and themed 'zuma Parties'.
