One of the most impressive, influential and innovative DJ on dance music history in Japan, or not too much to say on this planet as introduced by some medias in Europe.

Since Marcel Dettmann hooked him up to his album release party at Berghain in 2010, Nobu has been playing there almost every year and introduced as Japan's own best kept secret. It's been for years now and his fxxking solid reputation is spreading all over the world today.

Many people found who is DJ Nobu on Boiler Room at Dekmantel Festival last year. Easiest to introduce his music, just watch it. You won't need to read this all... Also Unsound Festival in Poland, Concrete in Paris, Plastic People in London, Andromeda Festival and Vitamin Q in Australia, Amsteldam, Shanghai, Seoul, Smoke Machine & Organik in Taipei, Semantica Showcase in Madrid, plus Berghain every year... If you are a passionate techno fan, there must be lots of familiar festivals, party and clubs mentioned above.

In Japan, not only he is absolutely leading the scene, he is totally burdened with a big expectation of many his fans and followers. His infamous monstar party FUTURE TERRO started as his own organize local party in Chiba and now broke the record of audience at renoun club Unit in Tokyo on NYE.

His career as world top class DJ is obvisously rising straight with such his stoicism, love and passion for music and party. And we can't find anybody enable to amprify energy of music and keep controlling overwhelming groove on the dancefloor like him. Extraordinary and inifinite variety, his selection is always everchanging as concept of party with holding underground reality.

Overheard 2016 is gonna be even more busier to paly around oversea for him. Especially starting a new big project THERE... For sure it's gonna be more difficult to book him for such a small club like us but very fortunately we are having his very first gig in this year, so it's gonna be a damn special long set!!!

So please be ready to meet DJ NOBU and something you never experience. We will be updated our dance music conception of our life with his music, so let's release ourselves.

NOBU's stance as a DJ can be best described as underground -- his persistence is undisputed. However, that should not be confused with stylistic inflexibility.

Rather, his approach is singular and ever-changing, constantly modified and adjusted to the quality and the concept of each gig he plays. He keeps it all underground, yet he manages to mutate it. It is this ability that makes him stand out, as can be heard on his official mixes such as "Dream Into Dream"(tearbridge), "ON" (Musicmine), "No Way Back" (Lastrum), "Creep Into The Shadows" (Underground Gallery) and "Nuit Noire" (Octave-Lab).

In recent years, he has been programming his set around highly abstract techno with authentic floor anthems, textured avant-electronic music as well as unknown house tracks, along with even more obscure contemporary electronic pieces. He excels in threading challenging tracks from his wide repertoires into a compelling story.

What he could present on the dance floor with his DJ set has gained much love and applause, even among many international acts he shared the stage with. Lately, he has been touring regularly to Europe including several appearances at the techno institution Berghain, collaborating with Smoke Machine crew from Taiwan, building his network worldwide to explore his new frontiers.
