The Angel’s Share adopts a light-hearted, playful tone and employs an unexpected plot. The story begins with a group of uneducated young offenders being sentenced to community service. When they are taken on a day trip to a whisky distillery, one of their number discovers that he has quite the palette for Scotch-tasting. They come up with a plan - to steal a priceless bottle of vintage whisky.
