We're honoured to be bringing the curtain down on the Blue Girl Dai Pai Dong at AIA Carnival on February 27th, and we're doing it alongside our friends at Nodes Rec. for what promises to be an unforgettable night of top-tier tunes and immaculate vibes.


The Headliner

Leading the charge is Manchester-born, New York-honed selector AJ Christou. This Greek-heritage DJ and producer has carved out a distinct path in the electronic music scene with his dynamic blend of house, minimal, and techno. Starting his career at the iconic Sankeys nightclub in Manchester, AJ quickly gained attention for his skilful sets that blend crisp tech house with percussive flair and New York-inspired swing.

After relocating to New York in 2013 to hone his production skills, AJ signed to Cuttin' Headz label and has since released on heavyweight imprints like Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, and Paradise. In 2015, he founded Celesta Recordings, a platform for underground minimal and progressive techno, and later launched his V-House Sound project, showcasing a more mature sound with releases on labels that continue to push creative boundaries.

AJ's sets are known for their unpredictability, weaving diverse influences from his extensive record collection. He's performed at renowned venues and events from The Warehouse Project to Ibiza's top clubs like Hï, [UNVRS], and Amnesia, consistently pushing creative boundaries with upcoming projects and high-profile collaborations. His Greek heritage and passion for music collection inform his eclectic, groove-driven sound, making him one of the most exciting names in contemporary house music.

Nestled in the heart of AIA Carnival, the Blue Girl Dai Pai Dong is one of HK’s most unique and enchanting venues. Capturing the charm and character of Hong Kong's beloved dai pai dongs while giving us the perfect canvas to create something special as we say goodbye to it for another season.
