CID’s journey began in New York, where he was inspired by watching DJs spin at his dad’s Spanish restaurant. By age 11 he was mixing, and a few years later a chance meeting landed him an internship at a professional studio; his first session assisting on an Ashanti recording that went until 6 AM. He slept on the couch and was back in the room by 9 AM. That work ethic, paired with an ear for standout records, has defined his rise.

He cut his teeth remixing alongside Greg Bahary (Hott 22) before catching the attention of Cedric Gervais, whose GRAMMY-winning remix of Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness CID co-produced. From there, he focused fully on his own artist project, touring with A-list acts, playing the world’s biggest festivals including Coachella, EDC, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and more, and performing at iconic venues like Brooklyn Mirage, Academy LA, Hï Ibiza, and The Roundhouse in London.
