Founded by Andrew Bull, Marina Bullivant, and Cosmo Webber, The Aubrey After Dark blends deep-rooted nightlife expertise with contemporary perspective. A pioneer of Hong Kong’s nightlife, Bull has been a defining figure in the city’s club scene for over five decades, bringing a legacy of musical knowledge and community-building. Bullivant, whose background spans hospitality, private members' clubs, and lifestyle programming, adds a focus on creating the all important atmosphere and connection, while Webber, drawing from London's contemporary party circuit, has introduced a bold, international energy to the curation.

Set against the sophisticated backdrop of The Aubrey, The Aubrey After Dark immediately captured the imagination of Hong Kong’s cultural and creative community. To mark its one-year anniversary, The Aubrey After Dark will host a month-long series of curated musical events every Friday throughout May, each highlighting a different facet of the programme’s spirit and sound.

Anniversary Programme Highlights: 2 May – Opening Night: Mia Moretti

The Aubrey After Dark’s anniversary celebrations open with the Hong Kong debut of Mia Moretti, an international DJ, music producer, and songwriter known for her distinctive style blending classic house, global rhythms, and soulful energy.

Starting her career playing vinyl on Los Angeles’ legendary Sunset Strip, Moretti rose to prominence at the forefront of New York’s evolving DJ culture, where her bold sonic storytelling caught the attention of the fashion and art worlds. She has performed at iconic venues and festivals including Coachella’s Do Lab, Miami Music Week, Primavera Barcelona, and exclusive events at the Louvre and along the Las Vegas Strip.

Moretti’s production style is marked by her innovative use of global samples, layered with the signature energy of classic house and the rhythms of contemporary tech house. The result is a rich and timeless sonic tapestry that bridges the gap between nostalgia and futurism, a hallmark of her dynamic sound.

Her recent releases, including the acclaimed EP Tambor and a celebrated remix of South African artist Chicco’s I Need Some Money, have garnered international support, solidifying her reputation as a distinctive voice in today’s global dance music landscape.
