Hong Kong muso collective Sonic Aviators are bringing their legendary private listening parties to the public! This month the theme is our Rolling Stones Special in honour of Charlie Watts (RIP) – so swing by The Aftermath for a rockin' afternoon session digging deep into the Stones' back catalogue.
In tribute to the life of legendary drummer Charlie Watts (1941-2021), Sonic Aviators are hosting a special listening party celebrating the legacy of the self-proclaimed “greatest rock n’ roll band in the world”. Expect to hear Stones classics and rarer gems alike – all spun on warm vintage vinyl – as well as video clips, multimedia and more general musical nerdery.
Moving into Aftermath's main room, the session’s first half will see our resident musos handpick beloved and lesser-known tunes, with a focus on Charlie’s inimitable rhythmic stylings, while later on we’ll open the floor to take requests – and play all your favourite Rolling Stones songs, too.
